Team Toe

Hi there! We're Tom and Joe, and after graduating last year we decided we needed an adventure. But as well as offering up some of the best fun around, it had to be for a good cause. Naturally we made haste to theadventurists.com and signed up to drive to Mongolia for charity. Now here we are, making preparations to undertake probably the most epic journey of our lives.

So...we've conspired to get up to all sorts of mischief and mayhem on the legendary Mongol Rally. Tom and Joe...Team Toe. We know what you're thinking...inspired. But rather brilliantly, there's a wholly more fabulous reasoning behind our name which has a little something to do with your donations and which we explain here.

And of course, the car. Our machine is a 2004 1.3 litre Kia Rio – basic, cheap and slow, it’s pretty unsuited to the task at hand, you’ll agree. But that’s the whole point of the rally. Besides, we like our car. Well we’d have to, seeing as we’ll be spending the best part of 6 weeks cooped up in it...
